The concept of a hat as an complement that only serves to protect us from the sun has gone down in history. Today a hat is an accessory that speaks for itself, a cover letter that shows the world how you are and how you like to live life. In short, the hats have experienced a rebirth that has made them a trademark for many styles.
Our inspiration for this transformation has been the city of Barcelona. Cosmopolitan, creative and multicultural, some of its corners show a thoroughness and precision that are the work of one of the universal geniuses, Antoni Gaudí. His revolutionary ideas and unconventional methods left a unique imprint on the city.
Moshchnyy gathers this Gaudinian desire to break with the establishment and to create the perfect synthesis between beauty and practicality. The so-called Barcelona Collection has an interior print inspired by the “Trencadís”, a technique present in the best works of the architect, where flourish it's great precision in the details and the use of geometry.
Puig i Cadafalch was the architect in charge of creating the flower panot, also called "Flor de Barcelona", the city's famous cobblestone. The die-cut of the back panels of the Gràcia and Gòtic hats is based on this symbol, which helps reinforce the identity of the Barcelona Collection. This important and characteristic element of the city had to be present in our first collection.
We are clear about our goal: to merge design and functionality in the renewed concept of the 21st century hat. Now that you have joined our purpose, you only have one thing left: enjoy it.
